KATOM

KATOM are a five-piece jazz-rock act based between Basel, Barcelona and Amsterdam comprised of musicians James McClure, Francesca Gaza, Martín Theurillat, Nadav Erlich and Jordi Pallarés, who all bear their very own fluid musical identity.

 

The quintet has created an imaginative stylistic canvas: a blend of two-part layered dissonant harmonies delivered in a straight-forward tone, over a through-composed electric guitar cycle and a rocking drum groove with an ever-present search for improvisation.
