DEBUT ALBUM TO BE RELEASED
"A Dizziness From The Unsaid"
This is the debut album of South African trumpet player and composer, James McClure (1991).
"My stories, memories and life experiences have been the driving force behind these compositions and the quartet’s sound. I aspire to create a place for the music to be brought to life and ultimately take the listener from the depths of the ocean to the Southern tip of Africa".
“The Album title [and concept], 'A Dizziness From The Unsaid', uses themes from my life where I've experienced a certain feeling (dizziness) from not saying something (the Unsaid). Whether it be death, love, friendship, unreleased music or not standing up to voice my opinion or protect another. These 'unsaid feelings' seem to find me in many different forms, and now I'm expressing them through my compositions and this album. This is me, finally saying what I want to say”.
